I am eleven years old and I was born on April 8th. I have many freedoms, like freedom of speech. Before we could not comment on the president, but now anybody can I can play computer games too. I wasn't allowed to play computer games until grade four. I can also watch TV all day and I can go outside with my friends.
　When I turn 18, I will have more freedom. I can travel by myself, drive a car and make more money. Right now, I usually travel with my family and, I cannot drive a car and do not have any money. I can have a girlfriend when I am 18 years old, but I think I should not have one until I am 20 years old. I can go outside by myself and have fun.
　Turning 18 has many disadvantages, too. If you do something wrong, you won’t have someone to tell you that you can’t do that. This could be dangerous.
　When turning 18, you have new responsibilities, you have living responsibilities, because you are old enough to live alone; you have the responsibilities of protecting your family. We need to keep on your best behavior, because if you have bad behavior, you will do bad things. You can start working when you are 18 years old, but you can’t find good work, because you are still too young.
　I am not looking forward to turning 18 , because being a child is fun. You can play computer games, watch TV all day and the best thing is you don’t need to work before you are 18 years old.
